A wee bit about me Steven Trolland

Billions of years have passed through the eyes of time and here we are.

We are an expression of life weaved within its beauty

Being brought up here all my life in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland in the wee village called Aviemore which is just six miles from the foot of the Cairngorm mountains.

Being surrounded by the natural beauty in the Cairngorm National Park of the lochs, beautiful clear running rivers, the hills and glens I couldn't live anywhere else!

Through many hard times in life, the purity of the surrounding landscapes and the night sky has always brought me a sense of healing and direction in my life.

The Cairngorms being a ski resort has always inspired me to follow my dreams. One of those dreams led me into the world of competitive snowboarding, where I’ve earned 11 podiums and 5 British titles, and I’m proud to now hold the title of Overall British Champion

When driving into the mountains again after being away, the sense of peace it always brings me like it makes my soul smile and always brings contentment and hippieness.

All these years Seeing and feeling all this beauty and appreciating it more and more every day whether it is under the silence of the dark skies with millions of stars and the Northern Lights or in the daylight my passion now is to try and capture it through the eyes of the lens
